The following table shows the performance comparison between andalusite and mullite, bauxite, corundum and other refractory products. From the table, it is proved that the andalusite's rate of high temperature creep is better than bauxite, corundum and most of the mullite bricks. Andalusite is one of the ideal materials for low creep refractories.
