  1. Introduction of Vermiculite:
  Vermiculite is a mineraloid of hydrated laminar magnesium-aluminum-iron silicate. When heated to a temperature, it instantly expands up to 7-8 times. There is a color change during expansion from golden brown into silver white depending upon the composition of the vermiculite and temperature. It is widely used for agriculture, horticulture, construction etc. The size is 1-3mm, 2-4mm, 3-6mm and 4-8mm.
